This adapter attaches the drywall screw to the shaft for the slide hammer. When the tip becomes dull, simply replace with a new drywall screw, instead of buying an entire new oil seal extractor kit. ProMAXX Tool reinvented the Oil Seal Puller to be more effective and efficient saving technicians time and money. Other pullers use a tapered threaded front to penetrate and remove the seal. This is an old school approach to a comm on problem, factor in degradation of the tip, and the need to buy a replacement tool, leaves you with an expensive repair for an ineffective tool.

Thank you for purchasing the ProMAXX® Oil Seal Extractor. It is precision, machine turned from stainless steel engineered with a unique, replaceable screw tip, which will bite into a damaged oil seal, locking itself for extraction.

• To begin, simply line up the screw tip on the steel surface of the oil seal you wish to extract. Strike the handle with the palm of your hand or a plastic hammer.
• Screw the extractor clockwise into the oil seal.
• Using the ProMAXX Slide Hammer, simply strike the hammer against the rear handle to remove the oil seal.

To replace worn screw tips, use an Allen wrench and 10mm wrench combo to release and replace the set screw within the oil seal extractor.
