Can I use this kit without the included jam nut and washer?
No. For safe operation and optimal pulling power, always use the jam nuts and lock washers. Failing to do so may result in thread separation or reduced force during use.

This kit supports 1/2"-20, 5/8"-18, 3/4"-16, and 7/16"-14 (vise grip adapter) thread types for compatibility with a wide range of pullers and accessories.
